Eco-Schools

The children of St Joseph’s care deeply about the environmental issues and wish to make a positive change in the environment around them.  The Eco-Schools NI programme is a registered charity which provides an ideal way for fostering environmental awareness in the entire school in a way that links to the curriculum. We aim to empower young people to make positive decisions and become change makers for an environmentally friendly world.

See below the range of activities in which takes place throughout every year at St Joseph’s.

Eco-Schools Home Learning

Even in these unsure times, our children are still working hard towards renewing our schools Green Flag with Eco Schools NI.  Look at the range of activities that are taking place at home. Planting strawberries, brussels sprouts, flowers and growing their own beetroot. Staying active with daily keep fit classes and cycling.  They are also learning about the environment around them through outdoor play and scavenger hunts. Well done everyone!
